A pregnant dog survived a euthanization attempt at a St. Louis area shelter.
She may well be a “fitting” poster girl for a massive new pet adoption campaign about to launch in St. Louis.
The dog, “Harlow”, has just been rescued and will be up from adoption from the St. Charles Humane Society. The drug used to “put her to sleep” didn’t work; she wouldn’t die.
For her and thousands of pets like her, close to 40 billboards around St. Louis and TV spots will begin blaring the message Wednesday: stop this madness; make a difference; adopt a pet, now.
