First 41 adoptable dogs will arrive at new Ozaukee Humane shelter

It’s wagons– and waggins– ho! on Tuesday when 41 puppies and dogs will be the first to arrive at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s new Ozaukee Campus, Victoria Wellens Center located at 630 W. Dekora Street, Saukville.

The adoptable dogs will arrive aboard PetSmart Charities Rescue Waggin’ vehicle at about 4:30 p.m. After a few days of rest, they will be available for adoption during the shelter’s opening on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Rescue Waggin’ vehicle will be available at the shelter for tours beginning at 9:45 a.m.

PetSmart Charities donated $250,000 to build the Pooch Palace, the dog adoption center at the new Ozaukee Campus.
