Students win Pet House Challenge

A doghouse built by students from West Carteret High School was the people’s choice at this year’s PAWS Pet House Challenge.

Teams from Carteret County’s three high schools and the Station Club competed in this year’s Pet House Challenge, a fundraiser for the Pet Adoption and Welfare Society of Carteret. Dog houses built by the teams were displayed during the recent Coastal Home & Garden Show held in Morehead City and the public could vote on their favorite for a $1 donation.
