Dog adoption story: Dollie, Dooley and the McGraths

Dollie and Dooley are pedigree Havanese and are puppy mill survivors. The dogs were born in Oklahoma and shipped to a puppy mill in Missouri, where they spent the first nine months of their lives. Missouri passed a law banning puppy mills in November of 2010. As a result, Dollie and Dooley were put up for sale. They were bought by the Havanese Angel League Organization at a dog auction. After the auction, Dollie and Dooley were sent to a foster home in Indianapolis. They were spayed/neutered and received all their shots and vaccinations.
