Dog adoption story: Bosco and Robin Killough

In August 2001, I saw a plea in the Shelter Animal Rescue Group Newsletter based in Oak Ridge for a family to foster an 8-year-old beagle. SARG had rescued the beagle from the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter, and he was in very poor health.

The shelter had called Shirley Auble, president of SARG, and she took him to Jackson Square Animal Clinic in Oak Ridge where Dr. Barbara Reeve and the rest of her staff cared for him until he was healthy enough to go to a home. SARG gives all the animals they get from the shelter names and they named this beagle Bosco.
