A new rescue organization has taken over the cat adoption center at PetSmart and will work with Helping Hands for the Plymouth Animal Shelter to find homes for cats left at the town shelter.
For Kathryn Ieada, founder and president of Papa’s Pet Project, the opportunity to help more cats at a location convenient to those looking for a pet and those who come upon the adoption center while shopping was one not to be missed. That’s because she cares.
“I just like animals,” she said, “and where I work at home, I’m able to start this agency with the support of my family.”
