St. Louis Holiday Magic accepting pet items during Saturday show

As a thank you for helping homeless pets this holiday season, the first 5,000 families to donate a pet item at St. Louis Holiday Magic on Saturday, Dec. 4 will receive a $2 off admission and a sample of Purina ONE brand pet food. “We encourage everyone to donate a pet item before coming inside for the Saturday show,” said Brian Hall, Chief Marketing Officer for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. “The St. Louis region is a very pet friendly community and this is another way you can show your support while enjoying some truly amazing ‘pet-acular’ entertainment.”

All pet items will benefit the St. Louis PetLover Coalition, an alliance of 19 animal welfare groups including the Animal Protective Association of Missouri (APA), the Humane Society of Missouri, and other shelters and rescue groups. Magic goers can also make a financial donation to receive their $2 discount. Purina ONE samples can be picked up at the St. Louis PetLover Coalition booth in the Purina “PET-acular” area.

Throughout St. Louis Holiday Magic (Dec. 3-5 at America’s Center), families and individuals are encouraged to stop by the St. Louis Petlover Coalition booths and the APA mobile adoption van inside America’s Center and consider adopting a dog or cat.
