Christmas is going to the dogs. As a precursor to the first-ever Winter Woofstock next weekend, 120 dog owners turned out Toronto’s King Edward Hotel on Sunday for a Christmas high tea with their well dressed pets.
Around 60 dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds turned out to take part in a fashion show and costume contest. They were also treated to a feast of doggy treats, water served in china teapots, and had a chance to sit on the knee of the man himself — Santa Claus. Donalee Clarke showed up with Princess, a Yorkshire terrier, done up as a Christmas angel. Minnie Chow brought Patsy, a schitzu dressed in a shiny green dress, bells and red booties.
