If you like seeing pets in costumes, The Wharf’s third annual “Howl-O-Ween Spooky Pooch Parade” promises to bring a cavalcade of memorable sights to Orange Beach this weekend.
The event, hosted by the Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!), takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct 23. Admission for spectators is free.
“We had about 100 dogs registered last year,” said Sonja Presley, one of the event’s organizers. This years’s goal is to raise about $2,000, which will go primarily to medical care for animals rescued by BARC!, she said.
