The SPCA for Monterey County is offering a special shelter pet adoption promo this Friday through Sunday. During the event, the adoption fee for dogs 6 months and older and all cats and kittens will be $19.05 (the year your SPCA was founded) instead of the regular fees of $35 to $290.
The SPCA is located at 1002 Highway 68, across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.
SPCA adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, permanent microchip identification, vaccinations, SPCA ID tag, carrier for cats, a health evaluation, and more. Information: 831-373-2631, www.SPCAmc.org
