Cats no longer are just confined to cages at the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
The Northwestside facility “recently opened a new free-roaming cat room and invites animal lovers to visit the space and the shelter’s cats,” said a news release today.
The IndyHumane shelter, 7929 N. Michigan Road, has more than 100 cats ready for adoption.
“Thanks to the latest cage-free cat room, the Madalyn McFadden Cat Adoption Suite,” the release said, “fewer than 20 adoptable cats will now be in cages during their stay at the shelter.”
