It’s a jungle out there MainStreet Cruise In Saturday to promote Shelter Pet Adoption

“Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my!” may have been Dorothy’s response in “The Wizard of Oz,” but you won’t see any lions in downtown Cleveland at the Mainstreet Cruise-In Saturday. You might see a Sunbeam Tiger, however.

While the big cats may grab your attention like the Panther J72, Jaguar or a Mercury Cougar, it is the little cats (and dogs) that really need your help.

At this month’s “Stray Cat Strut Cruise-In” the MainStreet Cruisers will be joining with Exclusively Shelter Pets as its community feature.

Their mission is to promote the adoption of pets from the Cleveland Animal Shelter, provide pet therapy to residents of assisted living, group, and other home settings, assist with emergency veterinary care for cats and dogs including spaying/neutering of all pets, and provide humane education programs to adults and children. Some of their furry friends are sure to be there and you just might see a Marlin, Barracuda or Stingray float by.
