Puppy Dog Ranch Plans Anniversary Fundraiser

ARENAS VALLEY – They have come a long way in just a year.

Puppy Dog Ranch, Grant County’s first and only no-kill dog rescue and sanctuary, is celebrating its first anniversary this Sunday with a Tex-Mex barbecue and fundraiser – an afternoon of fun and food, with music by the Silver City String Beans and enough smoked meats to feed a small army.

Founded by Laurie West, the rescue organization is a 501c3 nonprofit and public charity with the aim of changing the way Grant County deals with it’s overpopulation of dogs.

Strictly no-kill, Puppy Dog Ranch seeks to save as many dogs as it can and find “fur-ever” homes for them.

From few-month-old puppies to more mature 3-year-old adult dogs, from little lap dogs like Chihuahuas to full-size man’s best friends like golden lab mixes, Puppy Dog Ranch has a dog for everyone.
