Humane Society wants all of its dogs and cats to be in homes this Christmas
The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (HSTC) is hoping its dogs and cats will be singing the Christmas classic, “Home for the Holidays.” Its goal is to get all 50 to 60 of its shelter animals fostered in homes on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This effort would be done as part of the HSTC’s foster program, which asks volunteers to care for animals not yet available for adoption due to age, illness or injury. In this case, the foster program would be used for all of its current dogs and cats.
“This is a great opportunity for the animals to receive some extra TLC for a couple of days,” said President & CEO Frank Valente.
