Pets, Aged to Purrfection: Adopt this holiday season

Some pets have been waiting for a home for the holidays for a very long time.Becky Karr, shelter manager at the Sandusky County Humane Society, said some cats and dogs have been at the shelter three or four years.

The organization currently houses 14 dogs and about 130 cats.Karr said older pets can be ideal.”They're more laid back. They're going to be your lap cats, the older ones are,” Karr said.”Some dogs are potty trained. Some are well-behaved.”With more mature pets, a prospective owner already knows the size and temperament.
