Baby Girl Needs a Forever Home

Baby Girl Needs a Forever Home

Baby Girl Needs a Forever Home

Approximately 5 months old (born around 10/2009), Baby Girl was a rescue. She has a sweet, gentle, affectionate personality and purrs easily. She takes very well to strangers and is extremely easy to handle. You hardly notice her claws when she plays.

Baby Girl gets along great with other cats. She wants to be an indoor kitty where she is safe. She is quite food-motivated.

Baby Girl tested negative for feline leukemia, is spayed, and is up-to-date with her vaccinations. She is ready for her forever home.

Can Somebody Help Tommy and Gracie?

URGENT Greenville, SC: TRANSPORT AVAILABLE

Here is an email we got from our good friend Jenna. Jenna is the wonderful person who saved Dolly and made it possible for her to become a member of our family. Please tell everyone you know.

URGENT: Tommy and Gracie Need Homes NOW

URGENT: Tommy and Gracie Need Homes NOW

Don’t know how I am getting into the kitty business but this one is really breaking my heart.

These babies will be going to the shelter if we cannot save them. They were found alongside a dead mama 9 months ago. They have been going to Petsmart every Saturday for adoption with the people who found them and no takers. They suffer terribly being put into carriers and taken the 45 minute drive to Petsmart where they are put into a tiny cage for people to look at. They absolutely become depressed since they have been doing this for seven months. I also ran a picture with a write-up in the Greenville News Newspaper trying to help these people and not a single phone call. They are at the point where they will have to take them to the shelter and there most likely be put to sleep. They just cannot keep them and I don’t know what else to do to help them. They have really tried everything.

They would pay for transport to anywhere and these kitties are fully vetted, checked for FIV, FeLeuk, which was negative, all shots, and spayed and neutered. The male is a total lap kitty and female is a little more stand-off-ish but once you sit down and have the male on your lap then she comes and sits next to you.
Thank you for anything you might do to help,

Lenox and Diamond Need a Together Forever Home

This is a re-post of a story that appeared at: Your Daily Cute. It’s obvious that they must find a new forever home TOGETHER. Please pass this to everyone you know, they really deserve it!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today’s is a very special post. I hope someone out there in Cuteland can help!

Today I’d like you to meet Lenox and Diamond. Lenox is blind and Diamond only has one good eye. They are brothers and the bestest friends in the world, and Diamond is basically Lenox’s seeing-eye cat.

Both of these sweet babies were adopted as kittens and had the best daddy in the world. He loved them dearly and they adjusted better than anyone could have hoped. But then their daddy lost his job and as a last resort had to move back in with his parents in New York. His mom absolutely refused to take the cats in. He was crushed!!

Luckily, though, the shelter they were adopted from (Animal Aid — one of Cute’s favorites!) offered to take them back in and care for them. He reluctantly took them back and they are in a foster home now — and have once again adjusted amazingly! They really are quite a pair.

Lenox says hello! Just look how happy he is in his condo. And what a sweet face!

Diamond says hello, too! It’s like he’s winking at us! He doesn’t even know he’s missing an eye.

So now Lenox and Diamond are in search of a forever home again. A real forever home. They must go together as they are used to having each other to depend on. Neither one knows they are missing anything, and together they are the dynamic duo!

These babies are too special to not have a mommy and daddy to shower them with love and attention. They need a real home, where they can live the life they deserve. Let’s get together and find them one!

Here’s some more pictures and a little more about them. If you or anyone you know might be able to give them a loving home, please email me, tweet me, Facebook me or contact their friend at Animal Aid at LeeSparkman (at) aol (dot) com. Animal Aid (and Lenox and Diamond!) is located in South Florida.

Lenox is a little over a year old and blind. He is a beautiful white cat — absolutely scrumptious, little guy, plays, uses the litter box and comes when called. He chases balls, eats up a storm, climbs, tumbles with other cats and you would never ever suspect he could not see. He goes non-stop — he has so much energy. It is hard to believe he is blind and how his senses compensate for his loss of sight. Lenox has had surgery to remove his eyes, so there will be no need to worry about infections. Lenox also has a brother, Diamond, who also needed one eye removed. Lenox and Diamond were adopted together and dearly loved by a very nice young man. Unfortunately he lost his job and had to move back with his family up north and so these darling boys are available for adoption again. Lenox and Diamond must be adopted together. TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEM, PLEASE CONTACT THEIR FRIEND, LEE, AT 754-366 8072 or LeeSparkman (at) aol (dot) com.

Diamond is a darling grey tabby male cat. Diamond needed to have one eye removed for avoid future infections. You might think he is suffering, but he is a perfectly rambunctious, happy fellow. He runs, jumps, plays with toys and other cats and dogs. Dogs and cats are no problem to Diamond, he can handle his own. Diamond has a brother, Lenox, who is blind because he needed surgery to remove both his eyes.

Please pass this on to anyone you think might be able to give them a home, or who might know someone who could. They are at Animal Aid in South Florida and you can call Lee at the number or email above to meet them or get more info.

Let’s make Lenox and Diamond’s day!!

(Oh, and Pimp and Moo will be back next Tuesday for Two Cats Tuesday. They totally understood and were more than happy to let Lenox and Diamond borrow their day today!)
