Get 25 percent off on canine adoption fees at Operation Kindness, through Oct. 31

Need a new fur-friend? Really, don’t we all? Operation Kindness is celebrating National Adopt a Shelter Dog month by giving all dog adopters a 25-percent discount through the end of October.

More than 100 pups and adult dogs are at the shelter waiting for their forever homes. Fees are regularly $160 for adult dogs, $185 for puppies under one year; with the discount, the fee comes down to $120 for adult dogs, $138.75 for puppies. What a deal! In addition, all adopted pooches come with a free leash, a microchip ID and lifetime microchip registration, an Operation Kindness ID tag, educational materials on pet care, and a $25 coupon for Pet Supplies Plus. Not to mention a lifetime of kisses, wags and snuggling on cold winter nights.

Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. The shelter is at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton. For more information, call 972-418-7297 or visit www.operationkindness.org.
