Looking for Fifi, Fido or another four-legged friend?
More than 100 dogs and cats, most of which have been found as strays, will be looking for a loving home at this year's Hunting for Homes Mega Pet Adoption. The event will be held from 10 a.m-2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, 4310 Texas 36.
“We match families up with a dog and they foster it from a month to six weeks,” said Debbie Horrock, supervisor at Fort Bend Animal Services in Rosenberg.
However, to make room for all those dogs and cats that are still coming in, animal control agencies in Fort Bend County are asking for foster families to help.
