A black cat adoption promotion will take place at Cleveland area locations Friday and Saturday.
The “Everything Goes With Black” promotion will waive the adoption fee for one black cat per household. A second black cat and all other kittens and cats will be $20.
Black cats are the most likely to be overlooked by potential adopters, according to Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village.
Area locations sponsoring the promotion are Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road in Russell Township; and Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Building E in Mentor.
