Cat Tails, a cat adoption service, has lowered its adoption fee to $5 during August for cats that are a year old or older.
The lowered fee comes at a time known to various rescue organizations as “cat season” because female cats produce a lot of litters during the summer, sometimes having a new litter of kittens before they’ve weaned a previous one.
