Senior cat adoptathon during the Olympics – Boston.com

The MSPCA is waiving cat adoption fees (a $95 savings) for senior cats during the Olympics (July 27—Aug. 4) as part of its “Take Home the Gold!” senior cat adoptathon. Why should you adopt a senior cat? According to the MSPCA, senior cats are all “litter box masters,” have lived in homes before, and they still have many years ahead of them and lots of love to give.

The MSPCA currently has more than 40 senior cats in its three adoption centers and hopes to find homes for all of them during the Olympics. Here’s a look at eight cats who need homes.
