The Yavapai Humane Society (YHS) today announced that one of their volunteers, animal behaviorist Jennifer McCarthy, will be a featured guest on “Dog Whisperer” Friday, October 29th at 7:30 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel. In this episode, entitled “Wolf Dogs: Out of the Wild,” Ms. McCarthy helps host Cesar Milan rehabilitate a wolf-dog who is terrorizing a farming community.

McCarthy, a 4th generation, world-class celebrity dog trainer who has extensive experience with wolves and dogs, is currently living at the K-9 Ranch training center in Williamson Valley. At the Yavapai Humane Society, she works with dogs who have severe behavior problems so they can be rehabilitated and put up for adoption.
