The Keokuk Humane Society Shelter, a no-kill facility at 12th and Johnson streets, will open Monday to receive animals.Hours will be 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Someone will always be working at the shelter during the hours the building is closed to the public.

Outstanding! Yay for no kill shelters! Tried to find a link to them to give ‘em a little “glad you’re opening” donation, but didn’t find a web page for them. If I’m having a duhhhh moment, let me know, Brian!
